What Is Included In This Treatment?
Your facial begins with a gentle cleanse, followed by a second cleanse to ensure your skin is perfectly prepped. The dermaplane treatment removes dead skin cells and peach fuzz, leaving your skin soft and radiant. A painless peel is then applied to remove any remaining dead skin cells, followed by a custom mask to target your skin’s specific needs. With all dead skin cells gently removed, your skin is ready to fully absorb the DermaQuest serums, allowing their potent ingredients to work deep within. DermaQuest B5 serum is applied to hydrate followed by the DermaQuest stem cell serum which helps repair and rejuvenate. We finish your facial with a nourishing moisturiser and SPF to protect against harmful UV rays and blue light. How To Care For Your Skin After Dermaplaning
After dermaplaning, it’s important to keep the skin calm, hydrated, and protected to support healing and maintain results. For the first 24 hours, avoid direct sun exposure, heat, sweating, and strenuous exercise, as the skin may be more sensitive. Use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser and apply a soothing, hydrating moisturiser and hydrating serum with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, or aloe vera. Avoid exfoliating products, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, and acids (such as AHAs or BHAs) for 5 days to prevent irritation. Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher during the day, even if indoors, as freshly exfoliated skin is more vulnerable to UV damage. Refrain from touching your skin, and avoid makeup for at least 24. Mild redness or sensitivity is possible for some people this will subside within a day or two; keeping the skin moisturised and protected will enhance and maintain your results and help ensure a smooth, healthy glow.
